The day before, they begin set up at church and reception venue.
The big day, bride getting ready.
The groom getting ready.
The ceremony going as planned. As per usual from what I experienced in the past. A message for the bride and groom, though this time little items that represented their marriage. Little things that were defining the personalities of who they are, to also little encouragements for their marriage.
After we did some family photos, we got some private moments of the bride and groom.
AFter the photo session it was time to return to the guest. We arrived at the reception and can I say for any future weddings....please do bubbles. I fell in love with these, so much fun capturing those moments with bubbles.
German reception...the programs begin.
First up we have message from the brides parents.
The favourite game. The shoe game.
Small speech from Grooms mother. Then next couples photos are represent the groom (he works in HR (human resources). So these two do a interview, that involved the grooms love for food and communication.
A slide show of the past of the groom and bride. People stand if they are involved in those photos. Then CAKE time!
Next was the bride brother singing a song the them. After him, which surprised me was the bride gave her own husband a poetry or something for husband.
So here is something that is typical in german wedding, (my husband explained it to me.)
In the end we had a video, some songs, spoken word and then the evening was slowing down.
First dance...to floor slowly filling up transition to party!
